BLACK PANTHER Coming to Blu-Ray and Digital This Summer
Black Panther is without a doubt one of the biggest movies – not just in the superhero genre, but throughout cinema history. The film is now the third highest grossing movie of all time domestically, while its critical praise is beyond that of other superhero titles. Now, the movie is on its way to home video. Marvel has confirmed that Black Panther will hit digital platforms on Tuesday, May 8th, before hitting Blu-Ray/DVD on May 15th. BATGIRL Moving Forward with New Screenwriter
A Batgirl movie was announced last year when Joss Whedon was hired to write and direct. However, two months ago, Whedon dropped out, saying that he couldn’t crack the story. Around that same time, it was reported that Batgirl would go on the backburner as DC shifts focus to its A-list heroes. However, the film is moving forward with a new writer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, screenwriter Christina Hodson has been hired to take on Batgirl. Colton Haynes Returns to ARROW as Series Regular for Season 7
Arrow was recently picked up by The CW for a seventh season. While plot details are currently under wraps, the season will bring back a fan-favorite character to the spotlight. Now, a new rumor suggests that the film will feature a fan-favorite group from DC Comics lore. Sony and Insomniac Games have announced that the game will be released on Friday, September 7th, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
