Recently, it has become a popular trend for superhero movies to have an additional scene during or after the credits. Marvel Studios does it in every film, while the X-Men franchise began to do it a few years ago. However, DC Films’ Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did not have an after- or mid-credits scene. Green Lantern did, and we all know how that went. The highly controversial animated film, Batman: The Killing Joke, is now available for digital download. On Monday night, the adaptation screened in 1,325 theaters. An encore presentation was shown in 810 theaters on Tuesday night. Now, the box office total for the limited run is in.
