In a world where we have LEGO Batman games and the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series, it’s hard to believe that a Batman video game was cancelled. Sadly this exactly what happened back in 2008, when Pandemic Studios (along with EA) cancelled the game Batman: The Dark Knight. The game was based off of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight film, and would have included most of the movie actors reprising their roles. Coming off of a rather mediocre and over-stuffed pilot, Legends Of Tomorrow‘s second installment overall turned out to be a substantial improvement over it’s first. This uptake in quality can likely be owed to the show’s groundwork being laid so fervently in the premiere, and so the pilot’s follow-up (and hopefully the rest of the season) is consequently free to explore the full potential of this concept without being restrained by exposition. DC and Cartoon Network Announce JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION Animated Series
After months of rumors and speculation, Cartoon Network and DC Entertainment have finally announced a new Justice League animated series. Titled Justice League Action, the series will compose of eleven-minute episodes. No word on a premiere date yet. Longtime voice actor Kevin Conroy will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. He will be joined by James Woods as Lex Luthor and Diedrich Bader (who voiced Batman in Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Booster Gold.
