GOTHAM S1E4 ‘Arkham’ Review
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD. While the 4th episode retains the quality of the previous episodes but unfortunately it also retains the series prior failures which consistently scupper the series potential. While the political machinations and Cobblepot’s ambitious subterfuge kept me entertained I couldn’t help but notice the glaring flaws that need to be addressed, but more on that later. The episode deals with a major part of Batman lore, Arkham. Long has the Asylum been tied to The Dark Knight and the his myriad…

Michael Keaton Would Play Batman Again “In A Heartbeat” If Tim Burton Was Directing
After playing the Caped Crusader twice in 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns, Michael Keaton sat out on the third installment when Warner Bros. opted for a more family friendly tone. Tim Burton, who directed the Keaton movies, was also replaced on Batman Forever. Of course, while that movie was a box office success, it wasn’t a big hit with critics and fans. Its sequel, Batman & Robin, is widely considered to be the worst comic book movie ever. But why exactly did Keaton drop out of a third Batman movie? Speaking with Entertainment Weekly (via ComicBook.com), the Birdman star reiterated his lack of interest in what Warner Bros. planned to do…

With the long-awaited Justice League movie set to follow Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2017 or 2018, there has been much speculation over who the main villain will be. However, it was recently reported that Darkseid will not be in the first Justice League movie and will be saved for an inevitable sequel. Unsurprisingly, it was back to the drawing board for speculators. I suggested before that iconic Superman antagonist Brainiac could be the Justice League villain; see the link above for…

One of The LEGO Movie‘s most memorable characters was Batman, voiced by Will Arnett. This take on the DC Comics legend was one of the funniest to date, and it’s easy to wish to see more of him. Now, it looks like we will. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is fast-tracking a spin-off of The LEGO Movie focusing on Batman. Arnett…
