Producer Charles Roven Offers Updates on THE BATMAN and MAN OF STEEL 2
DC Films’ Justice League will unite DC’s biggest heroes, including the top two: Batman and Superman. The two characters have been scheduled to get new solo movies for a while. Matt Reeves recently took over to direct and rewrite The Batman, while a standalone Man of Steel sequel hasn’t made much movement. Now, we have updates on both movies. Producer Charles Roven tells Washington Times that Ben Affleck is still attached to star in The Batman, but given Reeves’ rewriting the film from scratch, it’s hard to definitively say what will stick and what will be cut. “From everything I know, [Affleck is] going to play that Batman. They’re retooling…

REVIEW: Justice League of America (1997)
Justice League of America Directed By: Félix Enríquez Alcalá Produced By: Larry Rapaport I’d like to quote one writer and say this is 80 minutes of my life I won’t get back. Special effects, costumes, the weird interview thing that was going on the entire movie and the acting were all terrible, to cover all in one sentence. So lets start with costumes: They look like kind of like a patchwork quilt from a 12-year old. Yes, it was 1997, but I’d still have liked to have seen better workmanship from the wardrobe department. And while I realize this was for, Fire and Ice’s costumes don’t look right at…

FEATURE: 5 Characters We Want to See in FLASHPOINT
At San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Warner Bros. announced that its standalone Flash movie has been named Flashpoint, adapting one of DC’s biggest storylines. The original story saw Barry Allen travel back in time to save his mother, but in the process, he created a whole new timeline that was drastically different. Barry later resets the timeline, leading directly into DC’s New 52 “reboot.” It’s unknown how much from the original story will be adapted into the film. So far, Cyborg and Wonder Woman (who played key roles in the comic) have been set for this movie, while Iris West and Henry Allen were confirmed a while back. Flashpoint is expected…

ARROW Finally Unmasks Vigilante in This Week’s Episode
Last season, Arrow introduced a new vigilante in Star City called, well, Vigilante. Unlike Oliver Queen and his team, Vigilante resorts to lethal methods in his war on crime, and he frequently comes into conflict with our heroes. Fans originally expected Vigilante’s identity to be Adrian Chase, like in the comics. However, Chase was later revealed to be Prometheus, while we didn’t get an answer on Vigilante…until now. This week’s Arrow was already a big deal, due to Deathstroke’s return. But the episode’s other subplot dealt with the unmasking of Vigilante. Safe to say, a lot of fans probably didn’t expect this one. [Warning: The Following Contains SPOILERS From This…

Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE FLASHPOINT PARADOX
What would the world look like if Superman didn’t land in Smallville? If Bruce Wayne was the one killed? If the Amazons and Atlantis caused World War 3? That what Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox tried to answer. When the timeline is changed by Zoom, it’s up to The Flash to stop. Is Barry fast enough? Let’s find out. Based on Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert’s legendary graphic novel, Flashpoint, the film deals with the subject of time. An alternate world where nothing makes sense and The Flash needs to change it. This film handles that concept beautifully. Justin Chambers is great as The Flash, giving the character that earnest…
