The Flash (6×12)- “A Girl Named Sue” Written by: Thomas Pound & Lauren Certo Directed by: Chris Peppe Much like last week, we pick up pretty much where we left off, with Barry and… (Let’s call her) Not-Iris enjoying married life and Iris stuck in the mirror version of Eva McCulloch’s office so what better time to bring back America’s favorite brutal torture GAME? That’s right, Jay! It’s Good News/Bad News! Bad News, Iris! You’re still stuck in the mirror. However… Good News! You’re not alone! Some lady is in there with you. Bad news! She looks and acts like she might be crazy but… Good news! She’s genius scientist,…

Avatar: The Last Airbender and Eastern Philosophy
Avatar: The Last Airbender is easily my favorite series. It has fantastic world-building, unforgettable characters, and a terrific soundtrack. One thing I feel often gets overlooked is its use of eastern philosophy and religion as a whole. Faith is a huge part of the series, and today we’re going to be shedding light on why it’s so important. The Avatar What is the Avatar? Well, to keep things short, Wan (the first Avatar) had his life force merged with Raava (the spirit of peace and light). Wan is the human host for Raava (he’s her Avatar). The title makes sense now, huh? Wan is a Jesus-esque character; he’s half-man, half-god.…

Review: Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic The Hedgehog is a movie, based on the hit videogame of the same name. We follow Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz), a humanoid blue hedgehog that can run faster than light itself, who hides in a city called Green Hills. But trouble arrives when he gets the government’s attention. When this movie adaptation got announced it had me raise an eyebrow. With all the fantastical worlds that Sonic runs in, why not make it animated? Years later, here I am, writing a review for it. Sonic is a much better film than expected. Ben Schwartz, nails the personality of the blue blur. Sonic is an energetic goofball, that is…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 6×11- “Love is a Battlefield”
The Flash (6×11)- “Love is a Battlefield” Written by: Kelly Wheeler & Jeff Hersh Directed by: Sudz Sutherland The Valentine’s Day episode! And breaking with Flash tradition it’s not either weeks before or weeks after the holiday this time! Anyway… We pick up about where we left off last week. Iris has been spit of the mirror and then it’s the title sequence (I miss the precap, how am I supposed to know what’s going on if I don’t even know if his name is Barry Allen and he is the Flash?) but after that Iris surprises Barry the next morning with a pancake breakfast. Which if you’ll recall Iris’…

Birds Of Prey – Review
When Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and The Joker breaks up, Harley Quinn decides that she shall show Gotham that she does not need the clown prince of crime to be a feared villain. However, her plans get put on hold when she meets a kid named Casandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco). Let’s talk about Birds of Prey. If you were hoping for an insane trip with colorful characters, humor, and well-executed action scenes, then I’m happy to report that Birds Of Prey deliver on every front. FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 6×10- “Marathon”
The Flash (6×10)- “Marathon” Written by: Sam Chalsen & Lauren Barnett Directed by: Stefan Pleszczynski Now we’re really back. And it’s a whole new, jumbled up world. Where everybody’s around (except for Batman and Wonder Woman but that’s understandable) and potentially able to show up. Let’s celebrate with a cup of coffee. Fortunately, Jitters is reopening after a five month renovation (I hope it’s more than just new turquoise chairs and bus trays because that shouldn’t have taken five months.) But wouldn’t you know it, Jitters can’t even properly reopen without some people trying to shoot up the place and rob them. Fortunately, this was just dumb criminals doing dumb…

The Legacy of ARROW – Eight Seasons and a Universe
Arrow started as a show about a guy wanting to atone for his father’s sins. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was nothing more than a rich douchebag who only cared about himself. After five years in hell, and eight years as the hero vigilante, the Green Arrow – Oliver became a god and helped usher in a new universe. This is the Legacy of Arrow. Let’s rewind a bit and take a look at what this show was initially. The CW, a Warner Brothers television network, previously had massive success with Smallville. A series that centered around a young Clark Kent and his adventures before he became the Man of Steel,…

5 Live Action DC Worlds That Weren’t in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS
The CW‘s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event was insanely ambitious. It expanded the Arrowverse‘s multiverse to include countless live action adaptations of DC Comics. Everything from Titans to Batman 1989 to DC Films to even the Green Lantern movie were represented. And that’s not including the returns of Brandon Routh’s Superman, Tom Welling’s Clark Kent, and more. To see all of these characters on screen again, and to see the DC Multiverse truly unified, was a sight to behold. However, as massive as its scope was, Crisis on Infinite Earths did not include every single live action DC property. Below, we list five DC adaptations that didn’t make the…
