Now, we know who will be playing Queen’s other teacher in Hong Kong. According to TV Line, Real Steel actor Karl Yune is set to play Maseo Yamashiro, the husband of Katana (Tatsu Yamashiro). Like Katana, Maseo’s presence is described as a “major” recurring role. GOTHAM Series Hires Composer Graeme Revell
It was recently confirmed that Gotham will be present at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, alongside fellow DC television adaptations Arrow, The Flash, and Constantine. And now, Fox’s Batman prequel series has a composer. According to Film Music Reporter, Daredevil and Sin City‘s Graeme Revell has signed on to score the show, which will look at the early days of Gotham before Batman. In my opinion, this is a strong choice, because Revell is known for composing darker and gritter projects, and Gotham fits that description like a glove. Stay tuned for more news as we have it. Gotham premieres this fall on Fox.

ARROW Casts Devon Aoki As Katana For Season 3 Recurring Role
Arrow has begun casting for its third season, and its first new addition should be familiar to DC fans. According to Deadline, 2 Fast 2 Furious actress Devon Aoki will play Tatsu Yamashiro, aka Katana, in a “major” recurring guest role. The character is a Japanese martial arts expert who wields a katana, which is obviously the driving factor behind her codename. In the world of Arrow, Katana will be, “one of Oliver’s mentors in the flashbacks and a critical influence on his journey to eventually become The Arrow of present day.” We saw Oliver in Hong Kong in the Season 2 finale, so it’s unsurprising that a character such as…

Following the post-credits scene of Justice League: War, a follow-up featuring Atlantis has been planned. It was previously reported that this film will, obviously, focus on Aquaman, and that Sam Witwer will voice his villainous brother, Orm. Naturally, it has been widely speculated that this latest film from DC’s animated line will be an adaptation of the “Throne of Atlantis” arc in the New 52. Now, it looks to be just that. Thanks to World’s Finest Online, we have the back cover of this August’s Batman: Assault on Arkham. He reunites with Ben Affleck, with whom he shared the screen in Argo and the upcoming Gone Girl, as well as Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio. It is unknown which character McNairy is playing, as Warner Bros. refuses to confirm his role. Naturally, speculation suggests that he could be playing another Justice League member.
