Review: BIG HERO 6
Back in 2014, Walt Disney Animation Studios was hot off their 2013 mega-hit Frozen, a film so huge that it is still fresh inside our heads today. So there was a lot of curiosity surrounding the next film from the famed animated studio entitled Big Hero 6. The film is loosely based around a little-known Marvel comic that debuted in 1998, but not even massive Marvel comics fan were that familiar with the characters. Sometimes taking a lot of liberties with your source material can go south extremely fast, but often times it can benefit big time. That’s the case with Big Hero 6. The film follows 14-year-old child prodigy…

Marvel Studios Drops Untitled Movie from 2020 Schedule
Marvel Studios previously dated a bunch of untitled movies for the next few years, including three for 2020. However, it looks like one movie won’t be arriving that year, based on Disney’s latest schedule change. The untitled Marvel movie set for July 31st, 2020 has been removed from the schedule, and it is currently “undated.” As a result, Disney has moved Dwayne Johnson’s Jungle Cruise movie to July 24th, 2020. Of course, since it’s untitled, we don’t know what Marvel movie this was. But fans are already speculating that it could be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, since that movie was expected to shoot next year for a 2020…

Disney CEO Confirms “Slowdown” on STAR WARS Movie Releases
When Disney first acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, the studio made plans to release a Star Wars movie every year, beginning in 2015. However, that plan has led to concerns of franchise fatigue, and it has manifested in the lackluster performance of this year’s Solo: A Star Wars Story. Since then, Lucasfilm has been mum on future franchise plans, but now we have a hint of what’s to come…or when, more accurately. Disney CEO Bob Iger confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that there will be a “slowdown” for releasing future Star Wars movies.
