Marvel’s BLACK WIDOW Director Search Continues
After the success of Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel is planning for the future. They are moving ahead with a Black Widow solo film, starring Scarlett Johansson of course. Deadline is reporting that Cate Shortland (Berlin Syndrome) is the frontrunner to direct. We know that the film will likely be a prequel, set before the events of Iron Man 2. Deadline is also reporting that Marvel head Kevin Feige and Johansson met with Amma Asante (Belle) and Maggie Betts (Novitiate) for the directing gig. Paramount Puts New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE Movie in Development
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been adapted multiple times on the big screen. Most recently, Paramount rebooted the franchise with two films. The 2014 movie was a box office hit, while 2016’s Out of the Shadows was a bomb, leaving the franchise’s future unclear. But now, the heroes in a half shell are staging a comeback. According to The Hollywood Reporter, screenwriter Andrew Dodge (Bad Words) is scripting a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The CW has unveiled its complete fall schedule, revealing when your favorite comic book shows will return to the small screen. The Flash and Black Lightning will premiere their new seasons on Tuesday, October 9th at 8 PM and 9 PM EST, respectively. Riverdale will be back on Wednesday, October 10th at 8 PM EST.
