Rumor: Will Maria Hill Appear in SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME?
My spider sense is sensing something. It’s some news about Spider-Man: Far From Home. Jackson (Nick Fury), and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill). This post is the first time we heard Maria Hill in the mix of names for this particular film. But considering she is Nick Fury’s closest ally, it might not be that surprising. Maria Hill has been a recurring character in the MCU. She most recently appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, where she was among the characters who were dusted in The…

Comic Review: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 (2018)
[Warning: The Following Contains SPOILERS From Amazing Spider-Man #1.] One of Marvel Comics’ flagship titles, The Amazing Spider-Man has been relaunched multiple times in the past few years, with Dan Slott writing for a decade. Well, that changes this year. In addition to yet another #1 relaunch, the series now has a new creative team. Nick Spencer is writing, with Ryan Ottley on artwork. I’l be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve read a Spider-Man comic that actually excited me. Whether it was the Superior Spider-Man arc or depicting Peter Parker as a billionaire, very little in recent comics have captured my interest. Last year’s Peter Parker: The Spectacular…

Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Far From Home recently began production. We hadn’t heard too much about casting for new characters, beyond Jake Gyllenhaal being in talks to play the villain Mysterio. His character is currently unknown, but he is said to be playing a lead role in the sequel. Funnily enough, Smoove played Peter Parker’s driving instructor in a Spider-Man: Homecoming Audi promo last year. However, it’d be surprising if they gave Peter’s driving instructor a lead role in a full movie,…
