The CW Announces Fall 2018 Premiere Dates
The CW has unveiled its complete fall schedule, revealing when your favorite comic book shows will return to the small screen. The Flash and Black Lightning will premiere their new seasons on Tuesday, October 9th at 8 PM and 9 PM EST, respectively. Riverdale will be back on Wednesday, October 10th at 8 PM EST. Supergirl will return on Sunday, October 14th at 8 PM EST, kicking off the network’s Sunday programming. We’re a month away from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This week, we have confirmation of three shows making their presence known at the convention. According to Deadline, Marvel and Netflix are bringing Iron Fist to SDCC. Star Finn Jones will show up alongside other cast members and producers to discuss the show’s second season, which is scheduled to arrive sometime this year. Production recently wrapped on Iron Fist‘s second season. While a lot of details are still under wraps, it looks like the new season will be out sooner than expected. During a Reddit AMA, Marvel television head Jeph Loeb confirmed that Iron Fist season two is “coming this year.” Netflix has already released Jessica Jones season two this year, with Luke Cage‘s second season arriving later this month. A few months ago, Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, took an unexpected leave of absence. She cited family-related issues for her break. Now, however, it looks like her break will be a permanent one. Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West was a key supporting character on The Flash for a couple years, before leaving during its fourth season.
