New Screenwriter Hired for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s SANDMAN Movie
A few years ago, Warner Bros. put a film adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed Vertigo comic, Sandman, into development. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is attached to direct and star in the film, while David Goyer wrote a story treatment. Jack Thorne was hired to write the script two years ago. More recently, the project relocated to WB’s New Line Cinema. And now, another scribe has been recruited. Following a stellar trailer released earlier this year, Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad is already one of the year’s most anticipated movies. So far, it is looking to be a really big hit for the studio.
