“Heroes Join Forces” in First Poster and Image for This Season’s THE FLASH/ARROW Crossover Event
We are only three weeks away from the annual two-part crossover event for The CW’s two DC shows, The Flash and Arrow. The story is expected to set up midseason show DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, with characters such as Hawkman and Vandal Savage appearing. And now, we have our first glimpse at the event. The CW (via CBM) has released a poster advertising a fan screening of the two-episode crossover, and it features Green Arrow and Flash. In bigger news, Marc Guggenheim has shared the first still from the Arrow/The Flash crossover. Charles Roven Offers Update on THE FLASH Movie and Reaffirms Separation From TV Show
While The CW’s The Flash television series has been a huge success, Warner Bros. is going with a completely different incarnation of the Scarlet Speedster for the DC Extended Universe. Ezra Miller will star in 2018’s The Flash movie as Barry Allen, who is played by Grant Gustin in the show. Miller’s casting last year pretty much ruled out any sort of crossover between the film and television properties, even if The Flash introduced the Multiverse this season.
