While The CW’s The Flash television series has been a huge success, Warner Bros. is going with a completely different incarnation of the Scarlet Speedster for the DC Extended Universe. Ezra Miller will star in 2018’s The Flash movie as Barry Allen, who is played by Grant Gustin in the show. Miller’s casting last year pretty much ruled out any sort of crossover between the film and television properties, even if The Flash introduced the Multiverse this season. After much teasing, Dr. Hugo Strange is finally coming to Gotham. ComicBook.com confirms that actor B.D. Wong is set to play the future Batman villain on the Fox series, in a recurring role. Wong is best known for his role as Dr. Henry Wu in Jurassic Park and this year’s sequel, Jurassic World. In Gotham, Hugo Strange will be hired to run Arkham Asylum.
