Gotham has become known for incorporating as many pre-Batman versions of iconic Batman villains as possible. The biggest mystery on Arrow this season is the identity of the big bad, Prometheus. We’ve known that Prometheus is connected to someone killed by Oliver Queen when he was the Hood back in season one. Injustice 2 is almost two months away and the marketing is phenomenal. Another trailer hit the proverbial streets this morning. Suicide Squad became the first installment of the DC Extended Universe to be nominated for an Academy Award. The movie was nominated in the Best Makeup and Hairstyling category alongside Star Trek Beyond and A Man Called Ove. And, perhaps in one of the biggest surprise of the ceremony, Task Force X won. While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made a lot of money at the box office last year, the majority of critics didn’t like it and the general audience was so-so. It’s arguably the most polarizing comic book movie to date. In fact, the “cool thing to do” has become talking trash about the film and greatly exaggerating its flaws. Last fall, The CW aired the epic “Invasion!” crossover with Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. However, if one show got the short end of the stick in the event, it was definitely the former. The only crossover on Supergirl was a 30 second scene, which was included in the Flash episode anyways.
