More Details on ARROW/CONSTANTINE Crossover Episode; Rutina Wesley’s Role Revealed
Yesterday, it was announced that Matt Ryan’s John Constantine will officially return for an episode of Arrow this season, following his NBC series’ cancellation. The crossover will take place in episode five of the show’s fourth season, titled “Haunted.” Following this announcement, TV Insider spoke with executive producer Marc Guggenheim on this decision, and how it ties into the episode’s storyline. One of the biggest questions that came from the announcement of CBS picking up Supergirl for their fall season has been: “Wait, it’s not going to be on CW?” It’s a valid question, the series is produced by Flash and Arrow’s Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, and CW has found a lot of success with those series. First Look at THE FLASH’s Jay Garrick Recreates Classic Comic Book Cover
Today, The CW has released a new promotional image from season two of The Flash. It recreates the classic “Flash of Two Worlds” comic book cover, which features Flashes Barry Allen and Jay Garrick. The comic book served as the introduction of Earth-Two, and subsequently the Multiverse, to DC Comics. This new image also features Barry Allen, donning his new Flash suit, and we also have our first official look at Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick. One Suicide Squad actor whose character has yet to be confirmed is Ike Barinholtz. The Mindy Project star was previously rumored for the role of Hugo Strange, but we don’t even know for sure if that character is in the film. Don’t Expect to See Booster Gold in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW; Will He Be in a DC Film?
The CW’s next superhero show, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, will focus heavily on time travel, especially with the inclusion of time traveler Rip Hunter and the thousands of years-old Vandal Savage. This has led to speculation that another fan-favorite DC character, Booster Gold, could appear on the series.
