Arrow finally makes its mid-season premiere on The CW, airing S2E10 “Blast Radius”. In the meantime, we have the official plot description for the thirteenth episode of the season. It was confirmed earlier this week that Fox is moving forward with a Gotham television series. While it will feature young Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Batman and showcase villains such as Joker and Riddler, Detective James Gordon will be the star of the prequel show. Now, we may or may not have our first actor linked to the project. According to Latino Review, Sons of Anarchy and Vikings actor Donal Logue has been offered the lead role of Gordon. We’ve previously heard from Batman vs. Superman costume designer Michael Wilkinson on developing new costumes for the DC Trinity, and now, he’s spoken in a little more detail. In an interview with New York Times, Wilkinson says that his approach to the Man of Steel follow-up is the same as his approach to any project, and that it’s an honor to be redesigning such iconic characters. “I have been given the opportunity to tackle a wide range of genres with my work: big superheroes, gritty contemporary, epic period, science fiction. This week is already big in terms of DC Entertainment news. Yesterday, it was reported that both Batman vs. Superman and the long-awaited Justice League movie will be filmed back-to-back – or at least move right into the latter after BvS wraps up – in 2014. After today’s news concerning Fox’s Gotham television series, we now have an update on the planned Constantine show. According to Deadline, NBC has officially greenlit a pilot for a potential drama series starring John Constantine. It is being written/executive produced by Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer. Among the most exciting aspects about next month’s animated feature The LEGO Movie is the inclusion of several DC superheroes. Batman (Will Arnett), Superman (Channing Tatum), Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders), Green Lantern (Jonah Hill) and The Flash are all set to appear. Today, Warner Bros. released a new television spot for the movie, and it features the first bit of dialogue spoken by Superman. When it was announced that Fox was developing a Gotham television series, it was said that the focus would be on a younger James Gordon and iconic Batman villains. However, the Dark Knight himself wouldn’t appear. Well, at TCA today, new details reveal that this will still be a very Batman-centric series. Some possible major DC Entertainment news has found its way online. According to Latino-Review, the DC movie that Dwayne Johnson is involved with is none other than Justice League. The Rock has said that he will be working on a DC project this year, but with Batman vs. Superman in production, how can Justice League also be filmed in 2014?
