DEADPOOL 2 Moved Up Two Weeks, NEW MUTANTS and GAMBIT Delayed
20th Century Fox just shook up the release schedule for its X-Men slate, moving up one movie and pushing back two more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deadpool 2 has been moved up from June 1st to May 18th of this year. This puts it two weeks after Avengers: Infinity War and one week before Solo: A Star Wars Story. Hopefully, the film will still do well while crammed in between two big blockbusters. First Image from VENOM is Released
We know, it’s not much to look at. Sony has finally released a still photo for the Venom movie, courtesy of IGN. The movie will be directed by Ruben Fleischer and features Tom Hardy as the titular character. The photo shows Hardy looking at an open book. The photo is kind of bland and doesn’t reveal anything, but hopefully we’ll receive a full trailer soon. Fleischer has confirmed that the movie’s plot is inspired by the six issue miniseries Venom: Lethal Protector, which turned Venom from a villain into more of an anti-hero. Director Gore Verbinski Exits GAMBIT Movie
Over the years, Fox’s Gambit movie starring Channing Tatum has struggled to keep a director. Rupert Wyatt and Doug Liman were both attached before dropping out. However, Gore Verbinski came on board last fall, and the studio set a release date for Valentines Day 2019. Also, Lizzy Caplan was in talks to join as the film’s female lead. TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES in First Official Teaser Trailer
Today, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer (via USA Today) for Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, a big screen spinoff from the hit animated series. In the film, the Titans want to star in their own movie, like all the other superheroes. Along the way, they get into their usual zany adventures.
