Review: SPIDER-MAN 2 (2004)
The Spider-Man character has been adapted multiple times for the big screen. We have Sam Raimi’s iconic trilogy, Sony’s “Amazing“ series, and now the Marvel Cinematic Universe iteration. But the one film that stands above the others is 2004’s Spider-Man 2, the middle installment of the Raimi trilogy. It’s not just consistently considered the best Spider-Man to date, but still one of the best of the genre. And in my personal opinion, it’s still the best movie based on a Marvel property. Spider-Man 2 has all of the elements people love about superhero movies and executes them all perfectly. The protagonist’s conflict between pursuing an ordinary life and leading a career…

It’s Not Just You: David Harewood Hates SUPERGIRL’s “Boring” Cyborg Superman
We first met actor David Harewood on Supergirl as Hank Henshaw, the mysterious head of the DEO. It was later reveals that Henshaw was actually presumed dead, and assuming his identity was J’onn J’onzz, aka Martian Manhunter. In season two, Henshaw was resurrected by Cadmus as “Cyborg Superman,” giving Harewood a dual role on the show. Unfortunately, Cyborg Superman only played a minor role in season two. They never gave him a costume, they never fleshed out the character, and they only gave him a little mask. So, Supergirl didn’t exactly do the villain justice, and it turns out Harewood agrees. In an interview with a young fan at Supanova…
