Epic Final Trailer for WONDER WOMAN Released
At the MTV Movie Awards tonight, star Gal Gadot promoted the highly anticipated Wonder Woman movie. During the ceremony, Warner Bros. dropped the fourth and final trailer for the film. And boy, is this a good one. Titled “Rise of the Warrior,” the trailer is chock full of new footage. We see some incredible new action, some more funny bits, and a little more of Themiscyra. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Opens With Estimated $145 Million Weekend
After opening last week in the UK and other countries, Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has arrived in North America. The highly anticipated sequel has been generating positive reviews from critics, as well as an “A” CinemaScore from audiences. Now, we have the estimated results from its domestic opening weekend. Via The Hollywood Reporter, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has opened with an estimated $145 million domestically. That’s much higher than the original film’s $94.3 million debut. WONDER WOMAN Runtime Confirmed
We’re now less than a month until the release of DC Films’ Wonder Woman, and the marketing campaign is full speed ahead. Following a slew of TV spots, magazine covers and more, a new “sneak peek” – likely the final trailer – premieres tonight at the MTV Movie Awards. While we wait for that, the film’s runtime has been confirmed. According to the Consumer Protection BC classification, Wonder Woman‘s official runtime is a whopping 141 minutes, or 2 hours and 21 minutes. Guy Ritchie Would’ve Liked to Direct SUICIDE SQUAD 2
After the success of Suicide Squad last year, Warner Bros. put a sequel into development. The Legend of Tarzan scribe Adam Cozad is working on the script, while the studio is talking to directors, including Mel Gibson. Now, one filmmaker has expressed interest in tackling the franchise, even though it probably won’t happen. Director Guy Ritchie recently appeared on Variety‘s Playback podcast to talk about his new film, WB’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Injustice 2 has created a star-studded line roster. I’m pretty sure most fans have been happy with the characters they selected (except the one’s that are dead. RIP Nightwing). First Look at the Cast of Marvel and ABC's INHUMANS
After delaying the movie indefinitely, Marvel is now exploring Inhumans on the small screen. The Inhumans have already been a big focus on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but in this new ABC series, we get to meet Black Bolt and the Royal Family. Now, we have a first look. Entertainment Weekly has debuted a first-look image of the main cast of Inhumans, featuring Black Bolt, Medusa, and others. LOGAN Blu-Ray Details Unleashed – Cover Art, Special Features, and Posters!
Back in March, we were treated to one last ride with Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine with Logan. The film was met with both critical and audience acclaim and made a nice profit garnering $607M worldwide off a $97M budget. Now that two months have passed, the film has left most theaters. Today, The Hollywood Reporter has learned of some various details regarding its home release! On May 23rd, fans will be able to own Logan on 4K Ultra HD, DVD, and/or Blu-Ray. Hulu Picks Up RUNAWAYS to Series
Via Heroic Hollywood, Hulu picked up a pilot episode for Runaways with Marvel Television in summer 2016. This morning, a teaser trailer was released at Upfront Day, and with it came the announcement Hulu was picking up the show for a full season, set to release end of this year or early 2018. The trailer is packed with shots from the pilot episode, which filmed in February. First Full-Length Trailer for Netflix’s THE DEFENDERS Released
This morning, Netflix released the first official trailer for its next Marvel series, The Defenders. The eight-episode miniseries is a crossover of all the previous shows, uniting Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. This unlikely team will face off against The Hand to save New York.
