JUSTICE LEAGUE: THRONE OF ATLANTIS World Premiere Details Announced
With Justice League: Throne of Atlantis set to hit stores next month, we now have details on its world premiere. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that DC Entertainment’s next animated movie will premiere at the Paley Center for Media in New York on January 26th, which is one day before its Blu-Ray/DVD release. Cast and crew members will be available for interviews and a panel discussion following the movie’s screening. With the Shazam movie dated for April 5th, 2019, it’ll likely be a while before we receive solid news on it. iZOMBIE Adds Recurring Cast Member
Deadline reported today that Alek Paunovic will be joining the cast of iZombie in a recurring role. Paunovic has been acting for twenty years. He’s been in movies such as: This Means War, I Spy and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. A veteran television actor he’s most recently appeared on another CW series, The 100 but he has been on shows as varied as Psych, Battlestar Galactica and Saved. ARROW Casts Marc Singer As Creature Commandos Leader For Season 3 Recurring Role
This week’s midseason finale of Arrow ended on a truly shocking note (check out our recap here, in case you missed it). But while we wait for the series to resume next month, we have some casting news on a character to appear in the season’s flashback storyline. Peter Stormare Returns to ARROW as Vertigo
As Arrow‘s mid-season finale airs tonight, CW has released some news for the second half of season three. Entertainment Weekly reported that Peter Stormare will be returning to Arrow. Stormare played the second Vertigo; born Werner Zytle, he was a crime lord in Starling City who took over the drug trade from the original Vertigo. He appeared in the season three premiere where he confronted and drugged Oliver while trying to blow up a stadium. Oliver fought off the effects of the drug and left Zytle for the police. Superman Prequel TV Series KRYPTON Lands At SyFy
A couple months ago, it was reported that Man of Steel scribe David S. Goyer was working on a TV series called Krypton, which was assumed to be a Superman prequel show. This would be Goyer’s second DC television venture, following NBC’s Constantine. Now, the series has been officially announced. It has been confirmed that Krypton has been picked up by SyFy, which is developing it with Warner Horizon Television.
