ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: DVD, Digital, Release Date and Special Features
We’ve got the deets on the release date for the Antman and The Wasp, as well as special features, and deleted scenes. Digital release for the movie will be October 2nd, with the physical copies of the movies being released October 16th. VENOM Gets a PG-13 Rating and Eyes a New October Record
We are Venom and so are you! We’re just a short three weeks away from Venom infecting the cinema, and it’s pretty good news all around. First up, the MPAA has officially given Venom a PG-13 rating. AMC lists the film’s runtime at 1 hour 52 minutes, putting it right at a comfortable spot that shouldn’t overstay its welcome. Elsewhere, the Sony spin-off appears to be one for the record books. Updated tracking puts Venom in the $60-70 million opening weekend range, which would set a new October record. Every year, fans have clamored for superhero movies to receive more recognition at the Academy Awards. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Passes $600 Million Worldwide
We have another box office update for Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp, which has achieved one more major milestone. The sequel has now surpassed the $600 million mark worldwide. It is currently at $214.3 million domestically and $386.7 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $601 million. It is the 8th Marvel Studios movie in a row to pass $600 million, and this puts it noticeably higher than the first Ant-Man ($519 million). It cannot be easy to be a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, considering the drama about James Gunn, but also the cast that is far from happy. However, there is one member of the crew that has been more opinionated to this firing than the rest, and that is Dave Bautista. Review: IRON FIST Seasons 1 and 2
Since I did Luke Cage seasons 1 and 2, I thought I might as well do both seasons of Iron Fist considering the second season is out now. Iron Fist season 1 is one of the worst shows of “television” I’ve seen in years. It feels like a generic Dallas clone with some supernatural elements to it. These Shows Will Be Present at New York Comic-Con 2018
Warner Bros. TV and Marvel Television have announced their lineups for this year’s New York Comic-Con, and a lot of fan-favorite shows will be present. Marvel will be showcasing The Runaways season two at Madison Square Garden, while a new episode from The Gifted will be shown at the Javits Center. Most significantly, we’ll be getting a first look at Daredevil season three in its own panel, which will also be at Madison Square Garden. Wesley Snipes Talks the Future of BLADE
If you are a comic book fan born in the late 1980s, early 1990s, you probably have heard of Blade starring Wesley Snipes. A comic book movie that stars a vampire killing hunter. Many consider Wesley Snipes to be for Blade what other see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Christopher Reeve as Superman. Recasting is a hard task, for any major role, and Snipes definitely agrees. Kevin Feige Confirmed for PGA Award
