DOOM PATROL Series in the Works at DC Universe
Later this year, DC Entertainment will launch its long-awaited streaming service, DC Universe. The platform will be home to several original shows, such as Titans, Swamp Thing, Metropolis, and the animated shows Harley Quinn and Young Justice: Outsiders. Now, a sixth show has been revealed. DC has announced that a Doom Patrol series is in development at DC Universe. The service made a 13-episode straight-to-series order. Production will begin this year for a 2019 release. Today, we have good news on Legion, two new regulars on Riverdale, a director for The Boys, hints at Constantine’s new role on Legends of Tomorrow, and confirmation of a character on Titans. DC Entertainment has announced some preliminary details on its streaming service, which will include a slew of exclusive original shows. Ryan Potter Joins TITANS as Beast Boy
The Titans cast is (probably) fully formed. DC has announced that Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) will play Beast Boy in the upcoming Titans series. The 22-year-old will be the first to bring Garfield Logan to life in live action. Beast Boy is a main character in Titans lore and should be a major player in the series. It looks like Dick Grayson has found his partner in crime. According to TVLine, Lindsey Gort has been cast as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach. She will be a recurring character and will be Grayson’s partner when he’s not with his fellow Titans. In an exclusive from That Hashtag Show, they revealed a casting call snippet showing that the new show’s Big Bad™ will be Acolyte. The Acolyte – Male. African-American 40-50. Confident.
