Last year, Warner Bros. hired Doug Liman to direct DC Films’ Justice League Dark, which unites several magic-based characters from the DC Universe. At the MTV Movie Awards tonight, star Gal Gadot promoted the highly anticipated Wonder Woman movie. During the ceremony, Warner Bros. dropped the fourth and final trailer for the film. After opening last week in the UK and other countries, Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has arrived in North America. The highly anticipated sequel has been generating positive reviews from critics, as well as an “A” CinemaScore from audiences. Now, we have the estimated results from its domestic opening weekend. Following a slew of TV spots, magazine covers and more, a new “sneak peek” – likely the final trailer – premieres tonight at the MTV Movie Awards. The Legend of Tarzan scribe Adam Cozad is working on the script, while the studio is talking to directors, including Mel Gibson.
