Diana Prince Suits Up in New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Image
Production began last week on the highly anticipated Wonder Woman sequel, titled Wonder Woman 1984. The announcement included a couple first-look images, one of which confirmed Steve Trevor’s return. Now, we have another new still. Star Gal Gadot shared a new image on Twitter, featuring her in the iconic Wonder Woman costume. While most superhero costumes tend to change with every other movie, Wonder Woman’s has remained consistent, and 1984 is no exception. The only difference is the lighting, which shows off more vibrant coloring than in some of DC’s past films. Check out the image below, and stay tuned for more as we have it. She’s back… 🙅🏻♀️ #WW84…

Comic Review: SUPERMAN #1 (2018)
Superman’s comics in recent years have been hit-and-miss, but the Man of Steel made a proper comeback in 2016 as part of DC Comics’ Rebirth. Peter J. Tomasi’s run, which focuses on Clark Kent’s family life with Lois Lane and their son Jonathan, was the most acclaimed Superman series in recent years. Now, on the heels of Action Comics #1000 and Superman’s 80th anniversary, we’re due for another #1 relaunch with a new creative team. Taking over now is Brian Michael Bendis, marking his big DC debut after his lengthy work at Marvel. Joining him is artist Ivan Reis. Superman #1 is a direct continuation of Bendis’ The Man of Steel…

Season two starts off where the last season ended. Eren Jaeger and his friends are still at war with the humanoid eating Titans. It doesn’t get any easier as more mysteries and enemies are discovered along the way With season one’s massive popularity, you would think that season two would have been right around the corner. But unfortunately, we all had to wait four years before we could continue the animated adventures of Eren Jaeger and his friends. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Falls to #2 in its Second Weekend
Ant-Man and The Wasp is now in its second weekend, where it faces off against new competitors Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation and Dwayne Johnson’s Skyscraper. The Marvel Studios sequel still held its own, but it still had a larger-than-usual drop for a MCU movie. Per Box Office Mojo, Ant-Man and The Wasp grossed $29.1 million this weekend, putting it in second place behind Hotel Transylvania 3‘s $44.1 million. This gives the movie a 61.6% drop from its opening weekend. This puts it right behind Spider-Man: Homecoming (62.2%) as one of the largest second-weekend drops in the entire MCU. It’s not all bad news, however. Ant-Man and The Wasp reached $133.1…

Comic Review: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 (2018)
[Warning: The Following Contains SPOILERS From Amazing Spider-Man #1.] One of Marvel Comics’ flagship titles, The Amazing Spider-Man has been relaunched multiple times in the past few years, with Dan Slott writing for a decade. Well, that changes this year. In addition to yet another #1 relaunch, the series now has a new creative team. Nick Spencer is writing, with Ryan Ottley on artwork. I’l be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve read a Spider-Man comic that actually excited me. Whether it was the Superior Spider-Man arc or depicting Peter Parker as a billionaire, very little in recent comics have captured my interest. Last year’s Peter Parker: The Spectacular…

Review: ATTACK ON TITAN Season 1
The Attack on Titan is a series that ended up as a monster of a franchise back in 2013. Because of this, I thought it could be fun to have a week of posts counting down the release of the third season which is releasing seven days from now. Starting this series off, I feel like I should start with what gave the series the popularity it has today. In season one, we follow the likes of Eren Jaeger and his friend’s training so that they can be apart of the army that fights against the Titans, humanoid monsters who feeds on people like they were strawberries on a bush.…

Retrospective: THE DARK KNIGHT – 10 Years Later
Batman, a character that has changed a lot over the years, especially in film. From his serial in the 1940s to his film series in the 1980s. Batman has always been a part of pop culture. There have always been different versions of the Caped Crusader, so how does one create his own spin on the character? That’s what director Christopher Nolan did with The Dark Knight Trilogy. Let’s look back at one of the greatest superhero films ever made, The Dark Knight. It’s amazing that after Batman Begins, an astonishing film in its own right, Nolan was able to elevate the genre. Crafting a sequel that felt like a roller coaster…

VENOM Smiles in New Movie Still; Director Ruben Fleischer Talks Horror Influence
As part of Entertainment Weekly‘s San Diego Comic-Con coverage, the magazine is exploring the world of Sony’s new Marvel-inspired movie Venom. And with that, we have some new details and imagery. In an interview with EW, star Tom Hardy talks about shifting from supervillain to superhero (well, somewhat) for this latest role. He admits that Venom is the “coolest” looking Marvel character to him, but he also likes his swagger and attitude. More specifically, Hardy wanted to play a “hero” that had a complicated past and iffy morals. Hardy and director Ruben Fleischer explain that with the Symbiote, Eddie Brock will be a reluctant hero, and the two have to…
