Sony Bringing VENOM and SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE to San Diego Comic-Con 2018
Marvel Studios is skipping Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con next month, but the convention will still be getting some other movie goodness, courtesy of Sony Pictures. According to Deadline, Sony is bringing Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to Hall H. The panel is said to be scheduled for Friday, July 20th at 6:15 PM. No details on who from those movies will be that panel, or how much new footage to expect. DC Entertainment has finally shared some details on its upcoming streaming service, DC Universe. And based on the announcement, it sounds like a must for any DC fan. HBO’s Watchmen pilot is currently undergoing production, after years in development. Showrunner Damon Lindelof explained that the series, which stars Regina King and others, will not be another straight-up adaptation of the comic; rather, it’s a contemporary follow-up of sorts. Jared Leto to Play Morbius the Living Vampire in Movie Directed by Daniel Espinosa
Among the Marvel movies in development at Sony has been Morbius the Living Vampire, based on the Spider-Man villain/antihero of the same name. The film recruited screenwriters Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama a few months ago, but since then, we haven’t heard a lot of news about it. Now, we have some big news.
