AQUAMAN on Track to Make a Splash at the Box Office
Warner Bros. returns to the DC Universe with next month’s Aquaman, which is already generating a lot of positive buzz from critics. VENOM Soars Past $800 Million Worldwide
Sony’s Venom continues its global domination, as the movie has surpassed another key box office milestone. Venom may be slowing down in North America, where it has grossed $211.7 million, but it is still going strong overseas, thanks to record-breaking numbers in China. Internationally, the film has grossed a whopping $610.8 million. This brings its worldwide total to $822.5 million. These numbers make Venom the 14th highest grossing superhero movie of all time worldwide, and it is the fifth biggest film of 2018 so far. Marvel is developing several shows for the Disney+ streaming service, which will shift the spotlight to several supporting characters in the MCU.
