LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham was released onto multiple video game platforms last week, and it included the debut of the first three DLC packs on the season pass. Two DLCs are based on The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel, while the third was a Batman 75 themed bonus. An Arrow DLC pack will be released later, with the other two yet to be announced. This week, it was reported that Warner Bros. was narrowing down its choice to direct the Wonder Woman movie, with Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad‘s Michelle MacLaren said to be the top contender for the highly coveted gig. This comes off of rumors revealing that the studio was seeking a female director for this production, which finally gives the world’s most iconic superheroine her own movie. This week, during shooting for a key scene for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, IMAX cameras were spotted on set. The scene in question is a flashback to the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne, confirming that the Zack Snyder-directed film will feature yet another iteration of the event that changed Bruce Wayne’s life forever and set him on the course to become Batman. After cameras have been spotted on the set, a rep for IMAX has confirmed to Variety that at least some scenes for Batman v Superman are being shot in the format. TheWrap.com reported that a front runner for the director for the Wonder Woman solo film has emerged; Michelle MacLaren. The wrap didn’t name their source but they described the individual as someone with “knowledge of the project.”  The source did not make it clear if any negotiations are underway but they did state that there are other candidates should MacLaren not work out.
