Review: The Legends of Luke Skywalker – The Journey You’ve Been Missing
“As a cargo ship rockets across the galaxy to Canto Bight, the deckhands on board trade stories about legendary Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker. But are the stories of iconic and mysterious Luke Skywalker true, or merely tall tales passed from one corner of the galaxy to another? Is Skywalker really a famous Jedi hero, an elaborate charlatan, or even part droid? The deckhands will have to decide for themselves when they hear The Legends of Luke Skywalker.A collection of myths and tall-tales about the legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker, written by Nebula, Hugo, and World Fantasy award-winning author Ken Liu.” From the Publisher The Legends of Luke Skywalker is an interlude between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: A New Hope. Review – Attack on Titan season 3 Part 1
This is a review of the first half of season 3. If you’d like to catch up, or remind yourself of what happened previously, check out my review of season 1 HERE, and my review of season 2 HERE. Season 3 starts with Eren Jaeger and his friends joining commander Levi Ackerman’s squad against the giant human-eating titans. Everything looks to be as usual until the group gets targeted by a mysterious individual who wants to obtain Eren and Christa. With every zombie story, a conflict between human fractions is unavoidable. The way the anime adapts the original creator Hajime Isayama‘s version of this type of conflict is excellent. It…

Recap: ARROW S7 E13 – “Star City Slayer”
Coming off of the stellar milestone episode last week, things get darker in this episode. Oliver is trying to mend his relationship with William, but things don’t seem to be progressing. William is a kid who’s been kidnapped, drugged, and attacked by a mob boss. He’s lived a rough life, and it all started when he met Oliver. The family drama keeps Oliver from suiting up the entire episode. The chemistry between Stephen Amell (Oliver), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity), and Jack Moore (William) is so strong. It really makes these scenes worth it. While Ollie is dealing with his son, the rest of the gang take on the Star City…

Feature: Five Reasons for Robert Pattinson as Batman
Last week I talked about Ben Affleck not being in the Matt Reeves directed Batman movie. Now that it’s official he won’t return, there’s rumors and fan casting going around for Robert Pattinson as Batman. There’s many reasons he could be gold in the role, but here’s five. 1. Box Office Draw The first reason is his box office pull. Sure, he did the Twilight movies, and yes they ranged from okay to garbage. But they still made a ton of money, and that is something Warner Bros is aware of. You should never underestimate an actor’s Box Office draw. 2. Acting Prowess The second reason is his acting talents. Again,…

The Flash (5×13)- “Goldfaced” Written by: Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza Directed by: Alexandra La Roche “Goldface…” Well there’s worse names that start with Gold. Were you expecting someone else? Let’s cut to the chase, we have ourselves a very interesting theme for this week’s episode: Characters being manipulated into doing something ill-advised through the manipulation of their egos: Even though the episode is named after another plotline, the big story of this week’s episode is that Sherloque is on the brink of discovering that Nora came back from the future to stop Cicada.
