FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×05- “All Doll’d Up”
The Flash (5×05)- “All Doll’d Up” Written by: Tony Pound & Sterling Gates Directed by: Philip Chipera Well what a time. I’ve been without a computer for pretty much the whole winter break and without a computer I can’t write reviews. (I have a phone but I’m not tapping out a review on that with my old man hands.) So, in short my big plan to clean up the episodes I missed was pretty much nuked and it’s scramble time. Anyways… For once those “Previously on the Flash…” Montages helped me out to remind of exactly what’s been going on going into this episode because I wasn’t watching too closely…

REVIEW: UNBREAKABLE (2000)
Heroes walk among us, and they take the shape of ordinary people taking life a day at a time. They’re our police officers, our teachers, our baristas, parents, lovers, and friends (and also Kenny Rogers). But we live in a culture with misplaced priorities. A culture that idolizes actors and politicians. One obsessed with the extraordinary heroes of comic books and the superhuman feats they can achieve. Writer/Director M Night Shyamalan saw this disparity at a time when comic book movies were a blip on the cultural landscape. And in Unbreakable, he exploits the disparity in a clever way. David Dunn (Bruce Willis) is a an everyday security guard with…

AQUAMAN Has Officially Passed $1 Billion at Worldwide Box Office
DC Films’ Aquaman has been a tidal wave on the box office, setting plenty of new records for the franchise. Today, the movie has met a goal that very few movies in history have achieved. This weekend, Aquaman has passed the coveted $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. It is currently at $287.9 million in North America and $732.4 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $1.02 billion. Aquaman is the first DC Films title to reach this milestone, and it is only behind The Dark Knight Rises ($1.084 billion) as the highest grossing DC movie in history. Other superhero movies that have made more than a billion…

Review: YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS Episodes 4-6
We will be reviewing the episodes of Private Security, Away Mission, and Rescue Op. This is your spoiler warning. After a very bleak premiere, Young Justice decided to get back to its more humorous side. Episode four could be considered a filler episode. It focuses on Dick tracking down stolen VR headsets with the help of Bow Hunter Security. The team consists of Roy Harper. All of the Roy Harpers. This episode is pure cheese, and I love every second of it. They have to stop Brick and his thugs, and it is a fun ride. Dick is avoiding his responsibilities. He creates a team for this rescue mission in the…

Oscar Producers Aiming to Recruit The Avengers for 2019 Academy Awards
The Avengers have saved Earth many times. They stopped Loki and Ultron’s invasions, they took on HYDRA, and they…made an attempt to stop Thanos. And now, it looks like their latest mission is to…save the Oscars? With Kevin Hart out, there has been much speculation on who will host this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. But now, it looks like there won’t be an actual “host.” Rather, the show’s producers will likely hire a rotating cast of actors to introduce different segments. The producers are in the process of lining up as many big actors from the Avengers franchise as possible. Exact details on their roles in the ceremony are still…

Anime Review – THE PROMISED NEVERLAND
Recently, the first episode of the anime adaptation of The Promised Neverland was released. It’s an adaptation of an award-winning manga that I have heard much about (although I have never read it). So, I will write this review as someone going in blind. The manga started off as a Shonen Jump manga back in August 2016. The story focus on the girl Emma, and her two friends who all lives at the same orphanage. At first, their life feels pretty normal, with grown-ups taking good care of them, while they wait to be adopted. However, when Emma finds out the dark secret about her family’s estate, she and her…

Sony Considering SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE TV Spinoffs
Sony Pictures really hit a homerun with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The animated film has been a critical and financial hit, and it earned a Golden Globe this week. This marks the beginning of a new franchise for Sony, which is already developing a sequel and spinoff. However, a new report suggests that it’ll go beyond that. The New York Times has published a piece on Sony’s future franchise plans, and obviously, Spider-Man is a big part of that. In addition to the movie spinoffs, Sony is considering animated television shows starring characters from Into the Spider-Verse. The film has spawned several fan-favorite characters, such as Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham, and…

SUPERMAN: RED SON Animated Movie in Development
Our pal Mario at Revenge of the Fans is back again with another big DC animated scoop. He recently shared the voice cast for Batman: Hush, and he revealed that a two-part Batman: The Long Halloween is in the works. Now, a film based on an iconic Superman story is happening. Superman: Red Son will be the next DC Elseworlds tale to get the animated treatment. There has been a lot of interest in adapting this story, including from producer Bruce Timm, and now it’s moving forward. Red Son is an alternative take on Superman’s origin, where his pod lands in the USSR rather than Kansas. In addition, Mario has…
