BLACK PANTHER Receives Best Picture Drama Nomination at the Golden Globes
Marvel Studios has been pushing an awards campaign for Black Panther, which has the rare legitimate shot of receiving big nominations at the Academy Awards and other ceremonies. The campaign has received a major victory, as the 2019 Golden Globes nominations have been announced. Black Panther has been nominated for the Best Motion Picture – Drama award. This is the first superhero movie in history to ever get a nod in that category. New MEN IN BLACK Movie Gets a Title and Logo
Sony is heading to Brazil Comic-Con (CCXP) to promote upcoming movies on Saturday. Among them is the new Men in Black, which stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as two new MIB agents. Now, the film has an official title and logo. First spotted by Collider on CCXP and later confirmed by Sony, the new movie is titled Men in Black International. THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Director Teases Plans for a Sequel
The LEGO Batman Movie was a hit when it came out last year, following up on the brick-tacular success of The LEGO Movie and expanding its cinematic universe. Now, it looks like a sequel is in development. Director Chris McKay confirmed on Twitter that they are now “working on” a second LEGO Batman Movie. Marvel Studios has been secretive about its post-Avengers 4 plans, but we have a few ideas about what movies are coming up. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is an animated film starring well, Spider-Man, but not the Spider-Man you’re used to. This film stars Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) a high schooler who gets bitten by a radioactive spider. Now, Peter Parker (Jake Johnson) has been Spider-Man for 10 years.
