The Hellboy movie reboot is out in a few short months, but we haven’t seen anything beyond a couple images. Fortunately, it looks like that’s about to change. It has been announced that Hellboy will be having a panel at New York Comic-Con next month. The panel will take place on Saturday, October 6th. The movie’s cast, as well as creator Mike Mignola, will be in attendance to discuss the movie. Hopefully, we’ll get a trailer and other new details around that time. Stay tuned. Review: DRAGON BALL HEROES Episode 3
I don’t know if I should laugh or not considering what I wrote in my episode two review, which you can find HERE. There, I mention how every episode should premiere closer to each other, and after that, Toei Animation waits, about two months, instead of the two weeks that we had last time. I know that you probably won’t read this Toei, but if your main focus is on Dragon Ball Super Broly, why didn’t you wait with this then? It’s quite clear that their main focus is on the movie, considering the animation is for this episode is BAD. Some scenes reminded me of when Berus fought Goku…

Review: VIDEO GIRL AI
Youta, who is the stereotypical loser in the classroom, find his life changed when a video girl from a VHS tape he rents comes to life. Raise your hand if you even knew of this property. I see a few in the back. Anyone else? Hmmmm… I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Anyways. I have had this anime on my radar for quite some time, and I’m glad that I finally was able to watch it. Why? There is a lot to talk about when it comes to this property. At first glance, it might come out as a generic, romantic anime. However, once you look at it closely, you’ll…

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Passes $600 Million Worldwide
We have another box office update for Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp, which has achieved one more major milestone. The sequel has now surpassed the $600 million mark worldwide. It is currently at $214.3 million domestically and $386.7 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $601 million. It is the 8th Marvel Studios movie in a row to pass $600 million, and this puts it noticeably higher than the first Ant-Man ($519 million). It also rounds out an incredible year for Marvel, which has grossed nearly $4 billion from just three films. Ant-Man and The Wasp‘s run is starting to wind down, and its final number should be somewhere in…

Are the Guardians in Trouble? Bautista Weighs In
It cannot be easy to be a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, considering the drama about James Gunn, but also the cast that is far from happy. However, there is one member of the crew that has been more opinionated to this firing than the rest, and that is Dave Bautista. Bautista recently spoke to Digital Spy, where he talked about something that I find worth mentioning. He mentions (although admitting that he is relatively unsure) that the issues when it comes to the third installment have gone so far that it might end up changing the fate of the galaxy traveling characters in Avengers 4. What do you think?…

Lord and Miller are Bringing the Spider-Verse to New York Comic Con
Chris Miller and Phil Lord. You know, the guys Ron Howard replaced. The duo have a reputation for crafting movies with heart and comedic flare that blow the doors off genre trappings. Later this year, they’re poised to do it again. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is the first big Spider-Man film where the main protagonist isn’t Peter Parker (even though Parker is part of the movie). This time Miles Morales takes the spotlight, and meets a bunch of different Spider-Persons along the way. Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, and Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse To gear up for the film’s marketing, Lord and Miller are heading to New City Comic-Con…

RUMOR: John Slattery Is Joining Avengers 4
Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to a close in 2019, and new info trickles down by the day. Earlier this week we got our first look at Carol Danvers and her Starforce in Captain Marvel. And now we’ve got another rumor about Avengers 4, courtesy of our friends at The Hashtag Show. Writer Charles Murphy has the scoop that John Slattery filmed scenes for Avengers 4. Slattery played an older Howard Stark in Iron Man 2, Ant-Man and Captain America: Civil War. The context of Slattery’s scenes remain unknown, but considering the mystery of how the team is going to defeat Thanos, maybe that’s for the best.…

SWAMP THING Series Adds Two Actresses to Cast
If there is something I think we all agree upon, is that DC seems to be all out with its upcoming streaming service, DC Universe. Deadline has recently reported that two actresses are joining their upcoming Swamp Thing television show. The first actress is Crystal Reed, playing the role of Abigail Arcane. For you that are aware of the Swamp Thing mythos, Abigail Arcane is the wife of Swamp Thing, created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. Her first appearance was in Swamp Thing #3 in 1973. This marks Reed’s second DC TV role; she previously played Sofia Falcone on Gotham. The second actress is Maria Sten, who will be playing…

Review: IRON FIST Seasons 1 and 2
Since I did Luke Cage seasons 1 and 2, I thought I might as well do both seasons of Iron Fist considering the second season is out now. Iron Fist season 1 is one of the worst shows of “television” I’ve seen in years. It feels like a generic Dallas clone with some supernatural elements to it. The fight scenes (which you would argue is a big key to an Iron Fist adaptation) is downright [insert censor beep here]. It also has some of the worst written lines I ever head. However, the worst aspect of the first season is the lead himself. I pulled my hair in frustration on more…

Most significantly, we’ll be getting a first look at Daredevil season three in its own panel, which will also be at Madison Square Garden.
