THE FLASH Will Bring Back Multiple Villains for Episode 100
The Flash will be hitting its 100th episode this year, and so far, details have been scarce. Unlike Arrow‘s 100th episode, this won’t be part of any crossover event. Instead, the “Elseworlds” crossover will move to the episode after. Now, it looks like the episode will see the return of multiple beloved Flash villains. DC World recently met Tony Todd, aka the voice of Zoom, at MCM Comic-Con London. There, Todd revealed that he is reprising the role for The Flash‘s 100th episode. Not only that, but he adds that the episode will bring back the show’s other speedster villains, and they all “want a piece” of Barry Allen. The…

Review: TITANS Season 1 Episode 3
Catch up on our previous reviews here. When a new TV show premieres, it can take several episodes for it to find it’s place while it struggles with what tone and stories it seeks to tell. Some make that jump easily, other shows take a bit longer. A few shows never survive this crucible. Cory Anders (Anna Diop) takes the forefront here, saving Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft) from the nuclear family, flambeing the Nuclear Dad (Jeff Clarke) in the process, and winning Rache’s respect by taking down a smalltime punk and his posse. They both seek answers to their own questions and hope that answering one mystery would solve the…

Review: TITANS Season 1 Episode 2
Read our review of Titans Episode One! Sigh… I am still trying to hold on to hope. This review is going to discuss some events, especially in the final moments of the episode, which are very spoilerific. There will be an indicator where that starts. Episode two of Titans, Hawk and Dove spend time bringing the feathered few to the flesh, devoting the first ten minutes to their life and relationship. Alan Ritchson brings us a nuanced Hank Hall, quick to anger, quick to quip, interacting with the world with his heart on his sleeve, and raises the rating of the show by his words alone. Minka Kelly remains undisturbed…

SUPERGIRL Will Introduce Lex Luthor in Season 4
Supergirl has featured many different characters from Superman lore, such as Jimmy James Olsen, Metallo, and the Man of Steel himself. Lois Lane will appear this year during the “Elseworlds” crossover event. But one character who has been absent is Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. Well, that is finally going to change this season. The CW has announced that Lex Luthor is set to appear on Supergirl this season. He will be a recurring character, and casting begins soon. However, he will not be in the “Elseworlds” crossover. First Look at Superman’s New Suit in Arrowverse “Elseworlds” BTS Photo
This year’s Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” is already a big deal by introducing Lois Lane, Batwoman, and more characters. But perhaps most significantly, it marks the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to The CW. Green Arrow and Flash will finally get to meet the Man of Steel, and since these shows usually can’t include DC’s A-listers, this is a big deal. Now, it looks like Superman will be sporting a new outfit for the event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following BTS photo, featuring him with Hoechlin and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin. In the photo, Hoechlin is wearing a black Superman suit, a stark contrast from his classic costume. 🤯🤯🤯…

Arrow is returning with its season seven premiere tomorrow night, but we have one last bit of major news surrounding the show’s new year. Kirk Acevedo, who plays villain Ricardo Diaz, has been upgraded to a series regular for season seven. Originally introduced as a supporting foe, Diaz revealed himself as the true big bad on Arrow last season. He orchestrated the dissolution of Team Arrow, killed Quentin Lance, and forced Oliver Queen to publicly out himself as the Green Arrow. But in an unprecedented move for Arrow, Diaz will continue to antagonize our heroes beyond one season. Normally, the big bad is either killed or locked up, and the…

ARROW Star Stephen Amell Calls “Elseworlds” the Best Arrowverse Crossover Yet
This year’s Arrowverse, titled “Elseworlds,” will be a little smaller, having three shows instead of four. But, it will be a big deal. It will introduce Batwoman, Nora Fries, and Lois Lane to the Arrowverse, while Superman is set to return. Now, we have some more hints on what to expect, courtesy of Arrow star Stephen Amell. During a Facebook Q&A session, Amell says that this crossover is “f***ing bananas,” and he has some very, very high praise on what to expect. “I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. Why BATMAN BEYOND Should Be DC Universe’s Next Live Action Series
After their first show, Titans, it’s time that we give the DC Universe its next project, Batman Beyond. For those of you who don’t know, Batman Beyond is the sequel series to Batman: The Animated Series. It focuses on Terry McGinnis. The Batman of 2039 (the year changed constantly). Terry is a high school kid who happens to run into a now-retired Bruce Wayne. Taking place in Neo-Gotham, Terry, with the help of Bruce, becomes the Batman of a new age taking on a slew of new villains and even some old ones. Batman Beyond is a cross between Spider-Man and Blade Runner. The future setting is something we haven’t seen…

First Look: Ruby Rose Suits Up as The CW’s Batwoman
This year’s Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” will introduce Batwoman to The CW’s DC lineup.
