The CW Sets Pilot Order for BATWOMAN
Ruby Rose’s Batwoman made her debut in the three-part “Elseworlds” Arrowverse crossover on The CW. In that story, Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl travel to Gotham City to confront Dr. John Deegan over his changes to reality. Along the way, they meet Kate Kane, aka Batwoman, who has become Gotham’s new vigilante after the mysterious disappearance of Batman (and Bruce Wayne). Before “Elseworlds,” it was reported that The CW had plans for a Batwoman spinoff series. Now, it’s moving forward. The CW has issued an official pilot order for Batwoman, written by Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries). David Nutter will direct; he previously helmed the pilots for Smallville, Arrow, and…

FEATURE: 10 Characters We Want to See on The CW’s BATWOMAN
Batwoman is the latest major DC hero to join The CW’s Arrowverse. After her debut in the “Elseworlds” crossover event, Ruby Rose’s Kate Kane is expected to return in her own solo series. Not much is known about the potential show, except that it would follow Batwoman’s adventures in Gotham. Every Arrowverse show has featured plenty of iconic DC heroes, and it is only natural for Batwoman to follow suit. Here, we list 10 characters that we hope to see in the spinoff series. Anarky Lonnie Machin was a recurring villain on Arrow‘s fourth season, originally a henchman for Damien Darhk and later an enemy of both him and Green…

Three ARROW Villains Are Returning for “Elseworlds” Crossover
The CW’s “Elseworlds” crossover looks to be a doozy, with the return and introduction of multiple Arrowverse characters. It will also revolve around reality being rewritten by Dr. John Deegan – which explains why Barry Allen and Oliver Queen have swapped places – so characters will be looking very different. Now, we have confirmation that not one, not two, but three villains from Arrow will be featured. [Warning: the following contains SPOILERS from recent episodes of Arrow.] The CW has released a bunch of new images from “Elseworlds,” and one of them features three familiar characters: Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Joe Wilson (Liam Hall), and Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Here,…

Batman’s Absence in the Arrowverse Explained in “Elseworlds” Crossover
For the longest time, fans of The CW have had one question: Where is Batman? The shows have vaguely referenced the character off and on. Last season, Arrow namedropped Bruce Wayne directly, while this year’s “Elseworlds” crossover will introduce Gotham City and Batwoman, who is also getting her own series. But despite all this, The CW has no plans for an actual Batman appearance. Fortunately, though, Bat-fans will get the next best thing in “Elseworlds.” The shows’ producers have confirmed that the event will address the whereabouts of Batman, revealing his place in the Arrowverse. Apparently, Batman has been missing for a few years. This had led to a huge…

SUPERGIRL Casts Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor for Season 4
Last month, it was announced that Lex Luthor is finally making his Arrowverse debut on Supergirl later this season. Now, the character has been cast, and the actor has quite the role in Luthor history. It has been announced that Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) is set to play Lex Luthor. He will first appear on Supergirl in episode 15 of this season, and from there, he will be a recurring character. Funnily enough, Cryer previously played Lenny Luthor – aka Lex’s nephew – in 1987’s Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. And now, he has ascended to the role of Lex himself. Producers Robert Rovner and Jessica…

In the state of Ohio, it is a first-degree misdemeanor to possess or use a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. Leave the booze for after the hunt. Be a good woodsman: Don’t litter. Especially don’t litter your empty beer cans. Hunt in the properly designated areas; don’t trespass. Get permission from the landowner before hunting on their property or stick to the public hunting grounds. Unless you’re lining up for a shot, keep your safety on. You never know when a green tiger will scare you, causing you to…
