Ant-Man and The Wasp has been out domestically for nearly two months, but its international rollout has been a lot slower. This week, the Marvel sequel finally hit theaters in China, and it’s already off to a great start. This weekend, Ant-Man and The Wasp grossed an estimated $71.2 million overseas, fueled by a $68 million opening in China. This gives it the fourth biggest Marvel Studios opening in the nation, behind Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Captain America: Civil War. Jessica Jones has lost its showrunner. Melissa Rosenberg will be leaving the series after Warner Bros. offered her an eight figure deal. Under her multi-year deal Rosenberg will help create new television series for WB. The third season of Jessica Jones will be her last. Marvel Studios has been celebrating its 10th anniversary all year, releasing everything from new merch to home video re-releases to three new movies, including Avengers: Infinity War. Now, the celebration continues, and this news is for those who want to marathon the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has announced that all 20 MCU movies will return to theaters for IMAX’s 10th Anniversary Film Festival. This week, Disney outlined some details on what to expect from its streaming service, which will launch in late 2019.
