The CW Renews All Five DC Shows and RIVERDALE for Next Season
The CW has officially announced that ten of its shows have been picked up for new seasons. These include six comic book adaptations. Arrow, the show that launched the network’s Arrowverse has been renewed for a seventh season. Midseason hit Black Lightning, based on the DC comic, will be back for a second season. Fellow DC adaptations Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will return for fourth seasons. It was previously announced that Matt Ryan’s John Constantine will be a series regular on the latter show next season. The Flash has been renewed for a fifth season. So before we dig in, allow me to eat crow for a second. Ask anyone here at WOBAM Entertainment and they will tell you I said last fall that the DC/CW-Verse would never crossover with Supergirl. Recap: SUPERGIRL Season One, Episode Sixteen ‘Falling’
WARNING: This review contains spoilers. This episode starts out really sweet; We see Kara doing what she does best, being Supergirl. She helps a young girl who is being bullied, and saves firemen from a burning building. Everything is going well for our heroine, and she seemingly saves the day. Unfortunately she is exposed to the newly discovered Red Kryptonite. A substance that mirrors Green Kryptonite’s affect Kryptonians, but it affects them mentally rather than physically.
