First Look at Superman’s New Suit in Arrowverse “Elseworlds” BTS Photo
This year’s Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” is already a big deal by introducing Lois Lane, Batwoman, and more characters. But perhaps most significantly, it marks the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to The CW. Green Arrow and Flash will finally get to meet the Man of Steel, and since these shows usually can’t include DC’s A-listers, this is a big deal. Now, it looks like Superman will be sporting a new outfit for the event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following BTS photo, featuring him with Hoechlin and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin. In the photo, Hoechlin is wearing a black Superman suit, a stark contrast from his classic costume. 🤯🤯🤯…

Opinion: 5 Comic Book Characters That Tom Hanks Can Play
Back in 2013, Tom Hanks said in an interview that he wants to get a role in a comic book movie. Five years later, and that has yet to happen. Because of this, I need to ask something. Why, and how? It’s not like Hanks is an unknown D-list actor coming out of nowhere. Because of this, an editorial has to be made to get the word out. Tom Hanks needs to be in a comic book movie. So, we have five ideas. 5. Batman/Thomas WayneWhen I first heard Hanks say that he wanted to play Batman, I first laughed a little considering it felt no way that would work,…

FEATURE: Why Goku and Superman Aren’t The Same
Greetings, WOBAMers! Here’s the sitch: I was supposed to have a Story Bake collab video ready to go for you faithful audience members. And… it almost is. But life happened. And when life happens, video editing can’t happen. So hang tight: that video is still on the way faster than you can go Super Sayan. But I didn’t wanna leave you hanging for our 7 Days of Shonen Jump. One of the things in my upcoming video that I touch upon is the idea among fandom that Goku and Superman are the same character with a different coat of paint. On the surface, there’s some merit to this idea: they’re both…

SUPERGIRL Movie in the Works at Warner Bros. and DC Films
As Warner Bros. continues to restructure its DC Films slate, yet another title has been put into development. 22 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox scribe Oren Uziel has been hired to write a new movie starring Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl. The project is in very early development (directors aren’t being approached yet), but this comes at an interesting time for Superman on film. After starring in three movies, Henry Cavill’s Superman has been waiting for another solo film. But with his three movies getting polarizing reception and Cavill’s new contract negotiations with WB not finalized, fans have wondered what’s next for the franchise. Well, Supergirl could create a new…

OPINION: 3 Reasons Why Doomsday Clock Is One Of DC Comics’ Greats After Only 6 Issues
So far, Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, have delivered something once thought impossible: Something close in greatness to the original Watchmen comic in Doomsday Clock (and we’re only halfway done). I won’t insult the massive amount of people whom believe that Watchmen walks on water, but at the same time, the duo which given us such classics in Action Comics, Batman: Earth One, and more, are delivering something that is wholly unique, and combining two universes which have no right to be together. You know, like, me and Scotch on a lonely Friday night. Here Are Three Reasons That Doomsday Clock Might Be One Of The Greatest Comics Ever At…
