Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. won’t be back for its season six premiere until next summer, but the Marvel series is already confirmed to live on beyond that. ABC has announced that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return for a seventh season. Despite the show’s consistently low ratings, ABC has shown confidence in its creative direction. THE MANDALORIAN Casts Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano in Lead Roles
The Disney+ streaming service will be home to a lot of original shows, such as Star Wars series The Mandalorian. The show, overseen by Jon Favreau, takes place after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a lone gunfighter in the galaxy. Now, casting has begun. As previously rumored, Pedro Pascal (Wonder Woman 1984) is set to lead The Mandalorian. Meanwhile, Gina Carano (Deadpool) has also signed on for a key role in the show. First ELSEWORLDS Promo Rewrites Arrowverse History

BLACK LIGHTNING Shifting to Monday Nights, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Heading for Big Hiatus
The CW has announced its midseason schedule for early 2019, and it includes a couple big changes for the network’s DC slate. Black Lightning will be moving from Tuesday nights to Mondays at 9 PM EST, beginning on January 21st, after the midseason return of Arrow. This marks the first schedule change for the show, which has occupied the Tuesdays at 9 slot for its first season and a half. Andy Bean (The Divergent Series: Allegiant) and Derek Mears (Friday the 13th 2009) has been cast as the titular character in DC Universe’s Swamp Thing. Bean will be playing scientist Alec Holland, and Mears will be playing the creature Bean transforms into – the Swamp Thing. The James Wan project continues to add to its cast.
