AQUAMAN Sequel Moving Forward with Screenwriter
We’ve already talked countless times about Aquaman‘s huge success. With a $1.1 billion gross worldwide, it’s inevitable for at least one sequel to happen. Now, Arthur Curry’s next adventure is setting sail. Screenwriter David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick has been hired to work on Aquaman 2. He previously wrote the first film with Will Beall, who shared story credit with Geoff Johns and director James Wan. Wan is also producing alongside Peter Safran. AQUAMAN Heading to Blu-Ray This Spring
DC Films‘ Aquaman is a massive hit, to put it lightly. The movie has earned more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office. Not only is it the biggest DC movie in history, but it’s one of Warner Bros.‘ biggest moneymakers in history. And now, the film is heading to home video. DC Films‘ Aquaman was a huge success, breathing new life into the mega-franchise. Fans have been waiting on word about the inevitable sequel. With Wonder Woman 1984 still a year away, director Patty Jenkins has already teased an inevitable third movie. With all the superhero craze these days, it is easy to forget the movies that are original superhero movies, i.e. not based on some previous material that the Avengers or Justice League is.
