Robert De Niro in Talks to Join JOKER
Robert De Niro has been rumored to be involved in the upcoming Joker movie starring Joaquin Pheonix for a while, and now, it’s happening. Borys Kit from The Hollywood Reporter confirms that De Niro is in negotiations to join the film. If a deal closes, De Niro would play a talk show host who plays a role in Joker’s origin. This would serve as the legendary actor’s first comic book movie. The Joker movie is said to shoot in September this year, with a release date set for October 4th, 2019. Jaw-Dropping AQUAMAN Trailer Surfaces at San Diego Comic-Con
As promised, Warner Bros. premiered the first trailer for DC’s Aquaman at its San Diego Comic-Con panel today. The trailer gives fans a long-awaited first look at footage from the film, and needless to say, it doesn’t disappoint. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more as we have it. Aquaman is scheduled to hit theaters on December 21st. Things are moving very quickly on Warner Bros.’ Joker origin movie, starring Joaquin Phoenix and directed by Todd Phillips. Now, we have confirmation on both a title and release date. Per THR, the film – simply titled Joker – is set to hit theaters on October 4th, 2019. The movie begins production in September, so this will be a fast turnaround for a comic book film. Entertainment Weekly has revealed its second San Diego Comic-Con 2018 cover, which will be available exclusively online and at the convention.
