Evangeline Lilly Considered Playing WONDER WOMAN, Presumably For Joss Whedon’s Movie
Back in 2005, when Warner Bros. was developing a Wonder Woman movie with writer-director Joss Whedon, one of the actresses rumored to be in contention for the titular role was Lost star Evangeline Lilly. She was even said to have been cast in the role, but that was denied. Now, speaking with MTV, Lilly confirmed that she did take a meeting for the role, but didn’t say that it was for Whedon’s film. “I actually went in and met on Wonder Woman at one point. Before the thing fell apart. That was early, that was first season of ‘LOST’ before I went, wait a minute, I don’t know if I want…

ARGO Scribe Chris Terrio To Rewrite David S. Goyer’s BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Script
Those who were disappointed with David S. Goyer’s script for Man of Steel will be happy with this news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar winning scribe Chris Terrio (Argo) will rewrite the current Batman vs. Superman script and will provide a new draft. Terrio – who was no doubt brought on board by star Ben Affleck – is said to be getting the script into shape in time for the planned February start date. Goyer is apparently too busy to do so himself, as he is attached to a slew of DC movies (such as the recently announced Sandman). This move makes sense, as Terrio has a strong relationship with…

We have more casting news for Warner Bros.’ Batman vs. Superman movie, and this is easily one of the most exciting reports yet. According to Variety, the studio is looking at none other than Joaquin Phoenix for a role in the film. The exact role hasn’t been confirmed yet, but is said to be that of the main villain, who will likely be Lex Luthor. The actor – who will next be seen in WB’s Her – hasn’t even been offered the part yet. Since he usually turns down big blockbuster roles, it’s very possible that he could turn down this one as well. Phoenix is also considering another film offer right now. …

During an interview with Ghostbusters podcast Cross The Streams (via Comic Book Movie), actor Ernie Hudson was talking about his upcoming projects. He revealed that he is in talks for a role in The CW’s Arrow spin-off, which will star Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin). “In the meantime, there’s a spin-off of Arrow called Flash. I’m meeting the creators next week. So, I have to prepare for that.” He hints at the character he’s up for, but stopped before he could give much away. “His adoptive dad, or the dad of…” He finishes by saying, “His (Barry Allen) dad has a problem.” On Arrow, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) said that his father was wrongly accused of…

EP Andrew Kreisberg Talks Future Of Barry Allen And Central City On ARROW
The CW’s planned Flash series was originally given a backdoor pilot in the form of Arrow Season 2 Episode 20, which would have seen the debut of Barry Allen donning the iconic costume. These plans were scrapped when Grant Gustin’s performance was well received in the two-part mid-season finale, and Central City will be further developed in the spin-off pilot instead. But, with the introduction of the particle accelerator and Allen’s accident, will we still see more of the character or at least hear a mention later this season? As a part of TV Line‘s “Ask Ausiello” article today, this very question was asked. Quotes from Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg…
