Following its universally loved first season, FX’s Legion will return for a second season next year. Production is now underway. In the mean time, the series is returning to San Diego Comic-Con next month. FX has confirmed (via Deadline) that Legion will be part of its SDCC panel. Both of Fox’s DC/Vertigo shows, Gotham and Lucifer, are returning for new seasons next fall. But the shows’ timeslots will be different next year. Today, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the critically acclaimed superhero movie surpassed the $600 million mark at the worldwide box office. Warner Bros. Animation collaborated with Fathom Events last year to screen two DC movies in theaters – Batman: The Killing Joke and Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. The former had a two-night run in cinemas, while the latter was just a one-night event. Now, another DC title is getting the theatrical treatment.
