The CW Unveils Season Finale Dates for its Four DC Comics Shows
With the 2015-2016 television season ending in a couple months, The CW has announced the season finale dates for its slate of shows. These include the network’s four DC/Vertigo shows: Arrow, The Flash, iZombie and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. iZombie will finish its second season on Tuesday, April 12th at 9 PM EST. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which premiered this midseason, will conclude its debut season on Thursday, May 19th at 8 PM EST. The Flash will end its second season on Tuesday, May 24th at 8 PM EST. Poster and Plot Details for SUPERGIRL/THE FLASH Crossover Episode Released
After months of speculation and rumors, CBS’ Supergirl and The CW’s The Flash will finally meet up in an epic crossover episode. The episode will air on CBS on March 28th. And now, the network (via TV Line) has released a promotional poster for the crossover, as well as a plot summary. In the episode, titled “Worlds Finest,” Flash finds himself in an alternate universe, where he meets Supergirl. Together, they fight two of Kara Zor-El’s enemies. WGN America Officially Orders Pilot for SCALPED, Based on the DC/Vertigo Comic
A couple years ago, WGN America put a television adaptation of Scalped, a DC/Vertigo comic book series, into development. Now, the network has finally ordered a pilot for the potential series, according to TV Line. Banshee‘s Doug Jung will write the pilot for Scalped, as well as executive produce alongside DC Entertainment’s Geoff Johns.
