After years of hopes and petitions, a third season of Young Justice was finally announced last year. It was later revealed that the season, subtitled Outsiders, will premiere on a new streaming service from DC, alongside a live action Titans series. So far, Ben Affleck has played Batman in three movies: Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and this fall’s Justice League. At its San Diego Comic-Con panel last night, Marvel Television premiered a new trailer for its next big series, Inhumans. The trailer uses IMAX as a selling point, as the first two episodes will premiere in IMAX theaters. Hulu just announced that their Marvel series Runaways will be premiering on November 21st! That’s much earlier than anyone expected. Most of us were predicting a 2018 release, but we’re happy to be proven wrong. Marvel’s Runaways is based on the superhero team of the same name. The show features six teenagers from different backgrounds to unite against a common threat – their evil parents. The Runaways [comic] was created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona and ran from 2003-2015. Runaways will premiere concurrently with Netflix’s The Punisher; meaning there will be plenty of Marvel goodies for fans to binge through.
