DEADPOOL 2 Casts Jack Kesy as a Villain
Production on 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool sequel begins later this summer. Directed by David Leitch, the film will see the return of Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth and many other characters from the first movie. The sequel also introduces Josh Brolin’s Cable and Zazie Beetz’ Domino. Now, the movie has cast its villain…or one of them, anyways. According to Deadline, The Strain actor Jack Kesy has been cast as a “major” villain in Deadpool 2. While unconfirmed, it sounds likely that Kesy is playing Black Tom Cassidy, who is “…a Dublin-born mutant who can manipulate, bond with, and project energy through plant life. He is also capable of issuing…

Director Doug Liman Exits JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK Movie
Last year, director Doug Liman came on board to tackle DC’s Justice League Dark movie, replacing Guillermo del Toro. In the past few weeks, Liman has been hyping up his take on the source material, promising a more personal and character-driven film. Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing that take…at least with Liman behind the camera. Variety confirms that Liman has dropped out of directing Justice League Dark. The reason behind the exit is a scheduling conflict. Liman is attached to direct Lionsgate’s Chaos Walking, which just got the greenlight. However, Warner Bros. is already in the process of meeting with new directors. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the directors…

WONDER WOMAN Won’t Have a Post-Credits Scene
The trend of a post- or mid-credits scene in movies has become very common over the past decade or so. Marvel Studios popularized the concept of having at least one additional scene during or after the credits of each movie, teasing what’s to come next. Other franchises, such as X-Men and Warner Bros.’ MonsterVerse, have adopted the practice in recent years. However, the DC movies rarely have credit scenes. Green Lantern tried it back in 2011, but that obviously didn’t pan out. The DC Extended Universe’s first two installments, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, did not have credit scenes. But Suicide Squad did have a mid-credits…

But considering how close these numbers are, it’s possible that the two movies could switch places when the final figures come in tomorrow. We’ll have to wait and…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 3×22- “Infantino Street”
The Flash (3×22) – “Infantino Street” Written by: Grainne Godfree Directed by: Michael A Allowitz This week’s episode literally starts with a ticking clock. Why, because we’re exactly 24-hours from Iris’ death and it seems like all of Team Flash is stumped to one level or another on how to avoid it. Barry tries to comfort Iris but that seems to work so poorly that she records a message for Barry to see later. We’ll get back to that later. The next morning they have a lead, Cisco has found the energy signature from the Dominator weapon in ARGUS HQ. Unfortunately, Lyla can’t let the power source out…
