Killmonger is Getting His Own Prequel Comic From Bryan Edward Hill
I am Killmonger No one’s perfect But no one’s worthless We ain’t deserving of everything Heaven and Earth is But word is, good – Paramedic!, Kendrick Lamar feat. SOB X RBE When Black Panther hit theaters last February, audiences were captivated by the man, the myth, the legend, Michael B. Jordan Erik Killmonger. Killmonger was a hit with viewers because his moral center and ideals challenged the hero in a direct way. He was wrong when he was right, just when he was unjust, and flawed where he had been failed, and Jordan sold that arc with genuine gravitas and pathos (if it sounds like I’m stanning for that Oscars…

Live-Action Avatar: The Last Airbender Reboot In The Works At Netflix
A live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series is in the works at Netflix with the original series creators involved. After the massive disappointment that was 2010’s The Last Airbender, it seemed like it would only be a pipe dream (or really a total and utter nightmare) that we would get a sequel let alone a franchise. Fans of the hit Nickelodeon cartoon from the mid-2000s have been clamoring for a more accurate live-action take on the source material, and now it looks like they will finally get their wish. Netflix has announced that a live-action series is in development. Deadline reports that the new series will be made in partnership with Nickelodeon…

Rumored SUICIDE SQUAD 2 Plot Details Tease New Tone and Setting
Despite being a major financial success in 2016, Warner Bros. has taken its time with making a sequel to Suicide Squad. The film was originally set to begin production this fall, before being pushed back to accommodate the cast’s busy schedules. Then, it was delayed even more when WB prioritized Birds of Prey, starring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, which will begin production early next year. But, it looks like we have some new details. Our friends at SuperBroMovies shared some intel from @DanielRPK on Suicide Squad 2. Apparently, director Gavin O’Conner and team want to tell a grounded, black ops-style story, which could be rated R. The team is doing…

VENOM: An Interview with the Director
In a couple of weeks, Venom enters the theater screens. People seem to be quite mixed about it, mostly because of the lack of Spider-Man. I’m looking forward to this, and happy about no Spider-Man (as far as we know right now) but that’s a post for another time. If you hunger for more information, I have some good news for you. Fandango recently interviewed the movie’s director. He talked about an aspect that makes me very excited about the film. In case, you did not know, one of the major influence. They approach the movie as a werewolf movie. How the movie An American Werewolf in London was an…

First Official Look at Joaquin Phoenix as the Future JOKER
Warner Bros. has begun production on its Joker movie, which stars Joaquin Phoenix as the future villain in a new origin story. While we wait for a press release announcing the start of filming, we have a first-look photo from the movie. Director Todd Phillips shared a first look at Phoenix’s character, named Arthur Fleck. Fleck is clearly lacking the Joker’s signature makeup and green hair, but that’s kind of the point. The movie will be a character study that examines Fleck’s descent into madness, and it is expected to be extremely different from past Jokers. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more as we have it. View…

SUPERGIRL: Potential Story Details, Villain
No matter your thoughts about the potential for a Supergirl movie, it clearly is going to happen by the looks of it. While we have no idea who’s playing her, we might have some story nuggets. According to Superbromovies’ DanielRPK, the movies appear to go half/half. According to him, the movie is going to spend a good chunk of it on Krypton and a good chunk on earth, with the time period being the 1970s. The villain? That’s apparently going to be Brainiac. What do you think about this? Comment below and let us know, or let us know on any social media site, @WOBAMEnt. Source: Discussing Film

Opinion: The POKEMON Anime Needs a Reboot and Ash Should Retire
No, I don’t think they should stop doing a Pokémon anime or movies for that matter. The series is such a big cash cow that I can’t blame The Pokémon Company for keep on doing this. But Ash is a character that has met his “best before date” years ago. I’ve had this feeling for years, but it got abundantly clear when I watched a movie called Pokémon: Clash of Ages. It’s a movie that starts off fairly strong but loses its focus faster than a speeding bullet as soon as Ash and his friends get into the picture. How are they introduced you might ask? They happen to be…

Arrowverse’s Batwoman Crossover Casts Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries
This year’s Arrowverse crossover event is a big one, despite not involving Legends of Tomorrow. The event introduces Batwoman and Lois Lane to the universe, while Superman is returning. Now, The CW has announced another key addition. Cassandra Jean Amell – aka the real-life wife of Arrow star Stephen Amell – is set to play Nora Fries in the crossover. Fries is the wife of Batman villain Victor Fries, aka Mr. Freeze. However, don’t expect the cool villain to show up and break the ice in the event. Amell’s past credits include America’s Next Top Model, Mad Men, and more. Nora’s exact role in the crossover is being kept under…
