As Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp has hit theaters this weekend, production has wrapped on the studio’s next highly anticipated blockbuster. Star Brie Larson and co-director Ryan Fleck have announced on social media that Captain Marvel has finished shooting. The movie has been filming for a few months in California, before wrapping in Baton Rouge and New Orelans, Lousiana. This also takes place as Marvel and Sony begin production on Spider-Man: Far From Home, while Avengers 4 reshoots will happen later in the year. Marvel Studios’ winning streak continues this weekend with its third movie of the year and 20th overall, Ant-Man and The Wasp. The sequel has been earning positive reviews from fans and critics so far, while it has been on track for a solid opening. Now, we have the initial estimates. Warner Bros. and DEADPOOL 2 Will Dominate San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 21st
The Saturday, July 21st schedule for San Diego Comic-Con 2018 has been released. In addition to confirming one key panel, a couple more have been revealed. First up, Warner Bros. will hold its Hall H panel from 10:30 am to 12:30 PM. The panel description simply reads, “Get a first look at the studio’s highly anticipated future releases. Films and special panelists TBA.” It has already been announced that the Aquaman trailer will premiere here, while Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984 are also expected. After putting several Harley Quinn-centric projects into development, DC Films is prioritizing Birds of Prey as the next installment. Star and producer Margot Robbie talked before about an R-rating, while a January production start date was rumored. Now, they’re confirmed.
