New Details on Alfred Prequel Series – PENNYWORTH
If you didn’t know, everyone is getting a television series. The latest DC character to grace the silver screen is everyone’s favorite butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Now, Pennyworth is not a Gotham spin-off, so don’t expect Sean Pertwee to play the titular character. But thanks to the good people at That Hashtag Show, we have some new information on the series. JOKER Gets a Composer; Joaquin Phoenix Not Worried About Fan Pressure
We have a couple news tidbits for Warner Bros.’ Joker movie, starring Joaquin Phoenix as the future Clown Prince of Crime. First up, composer Hildur Gudnadottir has been hired to score Joker. Gudnadottir previously scored this summer’s Sicario: Day of the Soldado. She also works on the Icelandic show Trapped. This news comes after DC’s other 2019 movies, Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984, recruited composers. With Wonder Woman composer Rupert Gregson-Williams moving on to Aquaman, the sequel Wonder Woman 1984 has recruited a new composer. And it marks the return of a legend to DC Films. Hans Zimmer has signed on to score Wonder Woman 1984. This serves as the composer’s latest entry into the comic book movie genre. He previously worked on The Dark Knight Trilogy, Man of Steel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman Will Return for Arrowverse Crossover; Lois Lane Will Appear
The CW has another big announcement for its next Arrowverse crossover event, which will focus on Batwoman and Gotham City. The three-episode arc will see the return of one fan-favorite character and the introduction of a new one. The CW Announces Dates for 2018’s Arrowverse Crossover
This year’s Arrowverse crossover will be a bit smaller than usual. The event will introduce Ruby Rose’s Batwoman into the universe, with plans to spin her off into her own series. The three core shows – Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl – will be involved, while Legends of Tomorrow won’t take any part. Now, we know when the crossover will air. The CW has announced that the Batwoman crossover will begin on Sunday, December 9th at 8 PM EST with a new episode of The Flash. The Flash has tweaked Barry’s suit throughout its run, most significantly in season four. The season five trailer teased a new costume, along with the arrival of the Flash ring.
