If you are a fan of Judge Dredd, you probably are happy to know that the TV show that was announced in may last year still in motion. According to The Hollywood Reporter, comic book writer Rob Williams (a writer mostly known for writing Judge Dredd) has finished the script for the Judge Dredd: Mega City-One. The show is going to be lead by Mark Stern, who is the same developer of the science fiction shows Defiance and Battlestar Galactica, so it has some strong chances going for it. In the report, one of the producers Brian Jenkins states, “I’ve read the pilot script by Rob and the team and got that…

ONE PIECE Live Action TV Show Gets a Writer
In 2017, we got the announcement that One Piece was getting a live-action treatment from the creators of Prison Break. Since then, it has been silent like a crowd during an Adam Sandler comedy show. Today, we have got some information. According to one individual from the editor’s office, a writer has been hired and more info will be announced later this year. As a fan of this source material, I will give this a chance (and probably review it once it is out) but I can’t say that I’m hyped about it. How Loney Tunes meets Pirates of the Caribbean on crack is possible with live action is beyond me. The…

ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL Gets a Second Trailer
Alita: Battle Angel is one of these properties that has been in “development” for years (maybe even a decade) when it comes to getting a live action treatment. But like we know since a while back, the movie is happening with James Cameron producing and Robert Rodriguez directing. Today, 20th Century Fox released a new trailer, giving us some new info about it. As someone that has read the manga, this looks quite promising if you ask me. But then again, many bad movies have had great trailers. Alita: Battle Angel is set to release on the 21st of December. What did you think of the trailer? Comment below and…

Rumor: IRONHEART Movie in Development
If a tweet from The Black List is anything to go by, we might soon have another creation of Brian Michael Bendis’ on the big screen. The Black List got a hold on a script about Ironheart (or Riri Williams as her civilian name is). Her first appearance was Invincible Iron Man Volume 2 in May 2016, with later taking on the mantle from Tony Stark – like Miles Morales taking the Spider-Man persona from Peter Parker. With Robert Downey Jr. expected to retire from the Iron Man role after Avengers 4, perhaps Marvel Studios is already lining up a replacement? That Hashtag Show explains that for a screenwriter to put…

Opinion: Why ATTACK ON TITAN Needs Another Live Action Adaptation
After my reviews (or should I call them rants) of the live-action adaptations, you probably did not expect this post (unless you read the schedule obviously). I’ve always believed that Attack on Titan is a franchise with cinematic potential. A failed attempt, no matter if it is from the land where the source material comes from or an attempt from the west. No matter what your thoughts are about Netflix’s adaptation of Death Note, there is a successful live-action adaptation from Japan. On the western side, we have the live-action adaptation of the light novel with the name of All You Need is Kill, or Edge of Tomorrow as the…
