JUDGE DREDD: MEGA CITY-ONE Pilot Script Completed
If you are a fan of Judge Dredd, you probably are happy to know that the TV show that was announced in may last year still in motion. According to The Hollywood Reporter, comic book writer Rob Williams (a writer mostly known for writing Judge Dredd) has finished the script for the Judge Dredd: Mega City-One. In 2017, we got the announcement that One Piece was getting a live-action treatment from the creators of Prison Break. Since then, it has been silent like a crowd during an Adam Sandler comedy show. Frances Conroy in Talks to Play JOKER’s Mother
Right after news about Robert De Niro being in negotiations to join Joker, The Wrap reports that Frances Conroy (who you might recognize from Sleepless in Seattle and American Horror Story) is in talks to play the mom of the title role that Joaquin Phoenix is playing. The Joker movie would not be the first time Miss Conroy would visit the world of DC Comics. She has lent her voices to projects like All-Star Superman and Superman Unbound. Geoff Johns Talks About GREEN LANTERN CORPS
Speaking with IGN, Geoff Johns had some words about his script about the upcoming Green Lantern Corps movie that he is supposed to write and producd. Robert De Niro in Talks to Join JOKER
Robert De Niro has been rumored to be involved in the upcoming Joker movie starring Joaquin Pheonix for a while, and now, it’s happening. Borys Kit from The Hollywood Reporter confirms that De Niro is in negotiations to join the film. If a deal closes, De Niro would play a talk show host who plays a role in Joker’s origin. Alita: Battle Angel is one of these properties that has been in “development” for years (maybe even a decade) when it comes to getting a live action treatment. If there is anything DC fans were waiting for outside of the MARVEL-ous trailers that they showed, it was information about the upcoming streaming service, DC Universe, courtesy of Cnet. If you have $8 per month, then DC Universe might be something for you since they will give you access to a ton of comics, animated movies or tv shows. But if you aren’t into that, don’t you worry. The Black List got a hold on a script about Ironheart (or Riri Williams as her civilian name is).
