CONSTANTINE Will Return With New Time Slot
The producers of Constantine took to twitter last night to update fans on the show’s return from the mid-season break. They presented it as a good news/bad news situation. The “bad news” is that the show will return on January 16th, 2015, while the “good news” is that they will move into the 8 o’clock Eastern (7 Central) time slot. There is no doubt that Constantine has had a tougher row to hoe than some of his DC-television counterparts. Peyton List and Nicholas Gonzalez Join Cast of THE FLASH
As fans of The Flash settle into the mid-season break, some might be finding the six week wait for new episodes a little uncomfortable. Not to worry, the producers are here with some casting news to tide you over. Access Hollywood reported today that Peyton List will be joining the cast as Lisa Snart. iZOMBIE Adds Recurring Cast Member
Deadline reported today that Alek Paunovic will be joining the cast of iZombie in a recurring role. Paunovic has been acting for twenty years. He’s been in movies such as: This Means War, I Spy and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. A veteran television actor he’s most recently appeared on another CW series, The 100 but he has been on shows as varied as Psych, Battlestar Galactica and Saved. Peter Stormare Returns to ARROW as Vertigo
As Arrow‘s mid-season finale airs tonight, CW has released some news for the second half of season three. Entertainment Weekly reported that Peter Stormare will be returning to Arrow. Stormare played the second Vertigo; born Werner Zytle, he was a crime lord in Starling City who took over the drug trade from the original Vertigo. He appeared in the season three premiere where he confronted and drugged Oliver while trying to blow up a stadium. Oliver fought off the effects of the drug and left Zytle for the police. When Warner Brothers announced the cast for Suicide Squad on December 2nd speculation and excitement ran rampant. AMC Orders Pilot for PREACHER
The explosion of DC Comics on television is set to continue as Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s Preacher has received a pilot order. If picked up, Preacher will follow Arrow, Flash, Constantine, iZombie and next year’s Supergirl to television. The pilot is being developed by Point Grey Pictures, a production company started by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. They’ve teamed up with Prison Break and Fast and Furious producer, Neal H. Moritz. Also joining them will be Breaking Bad producer, Sam Catlin to develop the show. Sony Television and AMC Studios own the rights to the show and it has been highly sought after already. ARROW Preps for Major Return While iZOMBIE Adds Some Wings
While the CW is getting ready to premiere the first half of their “Flash vs Arrow” crossover event, the internet was treated to some breaking news concerning the future of the DC/CW-Verse; a major return on Arrow while the upcoming iZombie has added to their cast. First up, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Steven Weber will be joining the iZombie cast for at least two episodes.
