David S Goyer, writer and producer for Constantine, The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel is no stranger to DC properties at this point. Now, as he prepares to help guide the upcoming Sandman film he’s let some information slip to whet our appetites. Entertainment Weekly spent some time with Rick Cosnett and Grant Gustin from The Flash recently. They discussed the first season’s biggest mystery; Who is the Reverse Flash? Truthfully, this mystery is older than the series as Grant Gustin describes his mother’s murderer as a ball of yellow lightning shaped like a man during his appearance on Arrow last season. Jerry Bruckheimer Teams With Fox to Produce GLOBAL FREQUENCY TV Pilot
Deadline reported today that Fox has ordered a pilot based on Warren Ellis’ Global Frequency produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Global Frequency was a twelve issue series written by Ellis and drawn by numerous artists. It chronicled the exploits of an independent covert intelligence agency ran by a former spy. The organization brings together strangers with highly specialized talents for specific missions to protect people from other black-ops projects. It was published from 2002 to 2004 by DC Comics on the Wildstorm Imprint. Michelle MacLaren is Front Runner to Direct WONDER WOMAN
TheWrap.com reported that a front runner for the director for the Wonder Woman solo film has emerged; Michelle MacLaren. The wrap didn’t name their source but they described the individual as someone with “knowledge of the project.” The source did not make it clear if any negotiations are underway but they did state that there are other candidates should MacLaren not work out.
